Chris, My first and oldest friend who I met at the early age of 4 years and we quickly became best friends. We shared all of our growing up years together living in Withnell great times! Started at St Paul’s school together then St Johns and St Mick’s. I was with Chris on the night he got badly injured in a camp fire accident when we were just 14 years old in 1976, thankfully he made a full recovery after a few weeks in hospital. We remained great friends for many years and experienced all kinds of life’s adventures particularly on motorbikes (when I could catch up with him) he was a bit quick on a bike!🤦🏼‍♂️ We went out drinking together, out meeting girls, went on holidays etc etc, all the things that great friends do. Regrettably we lost contact in recent years so it came as very sad news when I found out he had passed away. Looking back over all those years I am proud to say that Chris was my best friend!
